The year 2023 witnessed a successful edition of Chem-Technova, held on May 26-27. The event effectively promoted innovative thinking and practical skills in chemical engineering. Themes such as air pollution control, the application of artificial intelligence and neural networks, and biomass utilization and bioenergy were at the forefront, reflecting the urgent need for sustainable solutions and technological advancements in addressing environmental challenges.

It boasted an array of technical competitions, including oral presentations and poster exhibitions. Building on the momentum of previous years, Chem-Technova 2024 took place from March 21st to 23rd, with a central theme of “Sustainable Green Chemical Technologies: Challenges & Opportunities.” This three-day event aimed to delve deeper into the innovations and hurdles associated with creating a more sustainable future through chemical engineering.

Chem-Technova 2024 was designed to appeal to a broad audience, including Faculty members, Research scholars,  M.Tech, M.Phil, and M.Sc. students, B.Tech and Polytechnic students from all branches of engineering.

An attractive prize pool of Rs. 15,000 was available, incentivizing participants to showcase their best work.Lunch and refreshments were provided to all registered participants throughout the three days, fostering networking opportunities and informal discussions. Cultural events were organized on the evenings of March 21st and 22nd, adding a social and entertaining dimension to the technical conferences. The event featured keynote and invited speakers from Canada, the US, IITs, NITs, CSIR/ICAR Labs, and various industries, providing attendees with valuable insights and perspectives fostered international collaboration and knowledge exchange.Allowed students and researchers to present their work and receive feedback from experts..The registration fees varied depending on the participant category, with discounted rates for IIChE members. Spot registrations were also accepted with a 5% additional fee.Selected papers from the conference were considered for publication as book chapters and in reputable international journals of Springer/Taylor & Francis, offering participants a chance to share their research with a wider audience.
